Dengan berdasarkan semangat keislaman diatas maka di SDN I Banyuurip diadakan ekstrakurikuler seni hadrah. agar seni tersebut tidak hilang dari generasi penerus. kegiatan ini diadakan  pada hari rabu dan kamis pada setiap minggunya.

Peserta latihan adalah kelas tinggi yaitu kelas 4, 5, dan 6. walaupun begitu kadang- kadang anak - anak kelas bawah pun ikut nimbrung untuk melihat kakak-kakak kelas mereka berlatih. kalo sudah begitu kelas jadi rame, tapi itu justru menambah semangat berlatih. latihan dibagi menjadi dua; yang pertama anak laki-laki berlatih alat hadrah yang di bimbing pak Taufiq Ardat, S.Pd dan Pak Hasan Abdus Shomad, S.PdI. Dan yang ke dua adalah latihan vokal untuk anak - anak perempuan yang di bimbing Pak Aliful Faid, S.PdI. Para pembina ekstra ini adalah guru-guru yang berada di lingkungan sekolah sendiri. dimana mereka sudah menguasai kesenian tersebut. sehingga tidak lagi mendatangkan pembina dari luar.
